The GRPF is proud to share its inaugural Trustee’s Report for the year ending 31 March 2025, now available for public viewing.
This report marks a major milestone in the Foundation’s early development and offers a comprehensive overview of the mission, vision, governance structure, and the tangible progress made since its inception.
Among the highlights are the successful launches of the Foundation in both the northern and southern hemispheres, enabling engagement with players and stakeholders on a global scale. The first round of grant funding was also awarded, supporting initiatives that directly benefit former players in their lives beyond the game.
The report details the early impact of the Foundation’s work, drawing on evidence from the four pilot programmes, feedback from participants, and stories that bring the mission to life. From career transition support to mental wellbeing resources, each programme has been shaped by the needs of players and designed to deliver real-world value.
Behind the scenes, the Foundation has also been focused on building the systems, partnerships, and operational foundations that will ensure their work is sustainable and scalable. GRPF is committed to long-term impact and is laying the groundwork to reach more players and deepen support over time. This report reflects the meaningful progress made in year one and sets the stage for an ambitious future.
